FAQs
What is a Pause print?
We painstakingly prepare every video so it's ready for printing and looks perfect when making the jump from screen to paper. Pause prints are created in the UK using the best digital printing techniques.
We use heavy-weight matte artist-grade papers, with the option of a custom frame, precision-made in Germany. Our papers and frames are of the same standard that you'll find in many of the world's best art galleries and museums. All orders are double or triple packed and shipped globally with full tracking.
How long does shipping take?
Collector's Editions are held in stock and ready to ship, usually next day.
Once shipped, approximate delivery times are:
UK: Next day We use Parcelforce Express24, which is a fully tracked service delivered on the next working day following dispatch to the majority of mainland UK households. You’ll receive a 1 hour window assigned on the day of delivery.
EU: 1 to 5 days Depending on the weight and value of your order, you’ll be able to choose either DHL Global (2 – 5 days) or DHL Express (1 – 3 days) at checkout.
Rest of World: 2 to 7 days Depending on the weight of your order, you’ll be able to choose either DHL Global (4 – 7 days) or DHL Express (2 – 5 days) at checkout.
You will receive a tracking email for all destinations once your order has been shipped.
Are the prints framed?
Our frames have been carefully selected to offer exceptional quality and value. They are hand-crafted in Germany with UV-blocking plexiglass to protect your artwork, as seen in many of the world's best art galleries. Framed prints arrive mounted and ready to hang as soon as they arrive. The frames are available in either high grade, matt black aluminium (using sustainable and partially recycled aluminium) or a naturally beautiful solid walnut (sourced from certified, sustainable forestry).
Unframed prints are shipped flat within a protective envelope and stiffener to keep them safe.
What are the dimensions of the prints? Prints are available in standard A2 or A3 sizes. This is to ensure you can easily find a suitable frame if you choose to purchase an unframed print.
Dimensions:
A2 - Paper: 594 x 420 mm, 23.4 x 16.5 inches - Print area: Approximately 560 x 315 mm, 22 x 12.4 inches – this varies slightly for each video
A3 Paper: 420 x 297 mm, 16.5 x 11.7 inches Print area: Approximately 385 x 215 mm, 15.2 x 8.5 inches – this varies slightly for each video
Are Pause artworks unique?
With our unique editions, there’s just one print created from each frame of a video for each size, so nobody else in the world can own exactly the same print as you.
Each print also comes with a beautiful certificate of authenticity that you should keep as proof of ownership. This will have ‘Edition 1 of 1’ clearly stated.
Limited Runs
From time to time, we may release special limited-run editions (such as a set of 20 screen prints to mark a video's anniversary). These will be clearly outlined at the time of purchase.
